Fired Up San Clemente

Kids need activity and Fired UP has just the answer…Clay Classes!  I am offering four different clay classes this summer: Beginning Hand Building, Potters Wheel and Hand Building, Mold Pouring, and Mosaic Design.  Class time is from 10 am to 12 pm Monday thru Friday (sans Thursday) once a week for 3 weeks per session.  They will be held at our ceramic studio, in the backyard and the carriage house.  Have your child wear sunscreen and hats if they are sensitive to the sun, but rest assured we will be providing shade with our new pop ups!  The enclosed backyard has picnic tables, chalk & bubbles, and beautiful plants to make your children feel at home.  Call or email if you would like to register your child for any of the above classes. Adults and Kids alike will enjoy a Fired Up party and all the trimmings you bring with you!  This group had margaritas and Mexican food to start things off and then they went full steam into the painting!  Mikki and crew celebrated for about 4 hours for her 40th Birthday celebration!  Children parties on the other hand will last aboot 2 hours with painting, food, drink, and cake.  No need to include gift bags cuz they will be getting their treat within a week when you pass out their pieces after firing. Delicious summer salad in a ceramic hand painted serving dish compliments of Louise!  She and her Grand daughter painted this piece together.  What a fabulous way to spice up a sweet dish!! Finger lickin’ GOOD!  My family made this platter for my Dad as a 60th birthday gift.  We took the platter and paints to Las Vegas to surprise him…and was he surprised!!!  He was more surprised that we were all there than I think aboot the platter…ceramics have kinda become part of our birthday traditions.  Even more than I thought, because I have asked my hubby a few times…what do you think we should get him/her for their gift? He always replies…A gift certificate to Fired UP! Ya I think I need to get out a bit more…tee hee…oh well??!!  Anywho, the platter went over well because now he has all his family’s hand and finger prints on his tasty RIBS dish!  I customized it with the Vegas sign in the center to remind us of our party weekend and he has a memory forever to use when we gather together!  Win Win!!!  Fired UP will get your kit prepared for your event at NO extra charge!  Teacher gifts, Anniversary parties, and Wedding celebrations are a few more times ceramics can add a personal and creative touch to a keepsake!  Party on and get Fired UP!!!

Fired UP for Gnomes??? Come on in we just got an AWESOME collection of Gnomes to paint.  My good friend, Heidi, has been growing hers for awhile now and just look at the variety and cuteness it adds to the garden!  Move ‘em around once in awhile to change it up and give them a different view.  Our Fired UP garden is blooming in the backyard and the inspiration is a plenty!
